Free for Flight.
//-start of poem-\\
Ground’s grasses grow green, sun’s sky seems so blue,
While I feel so alive.
Rain’s rivers run free, from high hails damp dew,
While I relax and thrive.
I feel the peace I’ve strived, it's true!
I feel the peace I’ve strived…
Yes, yesterday’s gone, hope hints it will stay,
While I shun nine to five.
Nice summer seems slow, when winter’s away,
While I've no need to drive.
I feel like I've arrived, I say!
I feel like I've arrived…
Day’s dawning drowns darkness, night is not near,
While I live happily.
Sky’s sparrows soar singing, sightings so clear,
While I feel full of glee.
I feel so fit and free, my dear!
I feel so fit and free…
Wounds wither away, hell’s haze chills from frost,
While I rest peacefully.
Life’s lessons lack luster, lazily lost,
While I nap noon to three.
I feel you will agree, by gosh!
I feel you will agree…
Real rest really rules, pure play is a ball,
While I dream day and night.
No negative’s near, no naysayers call,
While I feel oh so right.
I feel so spruce and sprite, that's all!
I feel so spruce and sprite…
Slow slumbers soon cease, dawn’s drifting draws nigh,
While I sleepwalk so light.
Bait beckons below, stark cliffs clamber high,
While I fly like a kite.
I feel I’m free for flight, bye bye!
I feel I’m free for flight…
