My Daughter's Loving Hand.
//-start of poem-\\
Is it all worth it?
Is there meaning in this world?
I’m so imperfect.
All my feelings come unfurled.
When my troubles seem so grand,
When my toils do not count,
It’s my daughter’s loving hand
That will make it all work out.
Life’s in a hurry.
My routine is one big rut.
Life’s one big worry
And my eyes just want to shut.
When my trials try to rein,
When my life is filled with doubt,
It’s my daughter’s calm refrain
That will make it all work out.
I’m quite dejected.
I am feeling weighted down.
I feel rejected.
Soon sad tears shall make me drown.
When such sorrow seems to start,
When such sadness makes me shout,
It’s my daughter’s caring heart
That will make it all work out.
When I feel like I’m alone,
When I feel I’ve been left out,
It’s my daughter’s soothing tone
That will make it all work out.

I love my daughter, Shannon, more than anything in the world. I wasn't there for most of her early childhood and teenage years. I wish I could have been there for her. She has inspired most of my best poetry. See all of those poems > here.
I will write a personalized poem just for you. Go to > Purchase, Services (Services from Poet Roamoff) to see how to order one (and how to provide information I will use to write the poem).
