Pure Peace.

//-start of poem-\\

Wind whistling through the trees.
Blows to and fro.
Bees buzzing where they please.
Wings really go.

Sun shining all day long.
Warms all it sees.
Birds bursting into song.
Sounds on the breeze.

Creeks creeping down the slope.
Life flows along.
Blooms beaming hues of hope.
Sweet smells so strong.

Star sparkling through the night.
Helps darkness cope.
Moon making dark things bright.
Makes morning mope.

Cubs cuddling as they play.
Cause quite a site.
Grass growing day by day.
Makes all seem right.

Rain rolling down the plain.
Wets thirsty clay.
Plants poking through the rain.
See skies of gray.

Clouds carving up the sky.
Make sunshine wane.
Breeze blowing by and by.
Drives out the rain.

Cars cruising all around.
We wonder why.
Men moping in their town.
Give life a try.

Wrench rat race from their mind.
Hear nature’s sound.
Watch worries start unwind.
Pure peace is found.

Author's Comments

I really like this poem. I think its unique alliterative style is very pleasing. It also has carry-forward rhyming. I reused this alliterative style several times, but each of those poems has other elements that distinguish them (like their own meter or some other unique structure). See my  > biography (near the end, I list some of the poems that use this type of alliteration).

I will write a personalized poem just for you. Go to  > Purchase, Services (Services from Poet Roamoff) to see how to order one (and how to provide information I will use to write the poem).
