Soothing Scenes: a Conversation with Pat.
//-start of poem-\\
Hey Pat
What’s that?
You want to sit and chat?
Today?
Okay
Why don’t we chat away.
You’re swell.
Ah well
There’s plenty more to tell.
You’re neat.
How sweet
Why don’t you come to eat?
That’s fine
We’ll dine
And then perhaps opine.
That’s great!
A date!
But now it’s getting late.
What’s that?
Don’t scat!
You need to feed the cat?
All right
Sleep tight.
I’ll call tomorrow night.
Our dreams
It seems
Shall soon see soothing scenes.
