  • Generic donations to the site are used to maintain the site. Choose "Generic donations to poets" to give the lion's share to contributing poets instead. There is a fee imposed by our third-party processing site which reduces the net donation.

The votes are tallied since the last time the contributions were apportioned. The funds are released only after a reasonable kitty is acquired (averaging at least $100 per poet). A small amount is used for maintenance of the site (around 20%). There also is a fee imposed by our third-party processing site which reduces your original donation into the kitty.

Donations to Poet "Roamoff"

  • Direct donations to poets are given directly to the specified poet. Each new poet will be given their own line for donations. The funds are released only after a reasonable kitty is acquired (at least $100). A small amount is used for maintenance of the site (around 20%). There also is a fee imposed by our third-party processing site which reduces the net donation.

  • If you really like this poet, you can donate to this poet's kitty which is only released if the poet adds another poem to the site by the date you specify. Your donation is added to all others in this kitty. The poet can decide whether the total level of the kitty is enough to warrant posting a new poem. Because this requires work on our part, we extract around 20% or the first $20 (whichever is larger) to pay the labor involved. There also is a fee imposed by our third-party processing site which reduces the net donation.
